Learn from a professional
It seems like everywhere you turn you’ll see someone with a DSLR. Before the digital photography revolution, you only saw those kinds of cameras around the necks if professionals. Now anyone on a modest budget can own a camera that performs miracles compared just what they could do just a few years ago.
There’s still one important aspect missing. You might have a capable camera but are you a capable photographer?
Photography, like any of the arts, requires training and development. Sure, you can leave it on auto and snap away. If you do that, then you would be better off using your iPhone to take pictures. You throw out all the amazing capabilities of the camera on auto and you’ll never reach your true potential.
Look at any of the many professional photographers online portfolios and you can instantly tell there is something inherently unique about their photos. Expensive camera bodies and lenses can’t make up for real skill behind the lens.
